I feel like I've been sleepwalking through the last few days. It's not wholly unpleasant, actually...reality does tend to get a bit soft around the edges under these circumstances, which can be, you know, entertaining. That said, I haven't been the sharpest knife in the drawer lately, either, so...I guess it all evens out in the end. I made a super-bogus ruling at the tables last night. Got corrected by the players and, ultimately, by the floor guy, so no harm done, except to my own ego and perhaps my sense of professionalism and accomplishment, but hey...whaddaya gonna do. Tonight's my last night of work at this gig. Crazy, man. I think for the most part I'm going to hole up on Thursday; seems like a good time for it. Surprisingly, I actually don't think it's going to take me long to get my sleep schedule back on track. Then, well, who knows. Just going to do my thing, I guess...keep looking for more work, basically. Also going to eagerly await my paycheck, which I think should be coming in the first week of February or so.

What else...not a whole lot going on, I guess. My sister came down for a (very) brief visit yesterday, so that was nice. She gave me a lift to work, too, on her way out of town, so that was also nice. The kitchen sink is broken. Weather is cold. I goes on, ya know?

Dude, I need sleep. Possibly a me-day as well. Also: love, spending money, a place to live, a car, a gaming group, an in-house burrito chef, pants that fit, a mink toilet seat cover, a sex robot, and a large supply of marijuana to be consumed while watching the entire run of any of a number of sitcoms from my youth on DVD. Eh...I can live without the car. And the toilet seat cover; that was just there for flavor, anyway.
