Bonus free time

So I only worked like a half-shift tonight, and while normally I think I'd use up the extra time by putting in a few hours at the poker table, I wasn't really feeling it tonight, so I just came home instead. Momz has returned from her travels, though she was already in bed by the time I got back home, so the reunion will have to wait a bit. I believe, though, that I am now realeased from dog-sitting duty at this point, so that's good. It also meant, though, that I've had to spend my extra time at home tonight in quiet mode, so mostly I've just been poking around online. I was thinking of doing a long overdue blog catchup post kinda thing, but in looking over the notes I've collected over the past several days...I realize now that it's all drivel, so...no update for you. :)

Tomorrow I get the day off (yay!) so I'm hoping to do a more general queue cleanup and stuff like that. We'll see what happens. I work again on Wednesday night, but am off again Thursday. Then I get sucked back into the usual weekend black hole. I'm learning along and along that I'm not entirely sure I'm ever going to have what you'd call a "regular" schedule with this job. Apparently things can change from week to week and I've got to stay on my toes. Should be interesting. Can't really complain too much, though. I mean...it does make planning things a bitch, but what the hell do I have going on, ya know? :) So, yeah...catch as catch can, I suppose. Looks like I'm pretty well-entrenched in being swing shift, though, so, at least there's that...I can try and maintain some semblance of a sleep schedule, then. Hopefully.

Anyway...not sure why I felt the need to post at this particular time...I just felt like it, I guess. Probably more tomorrow, as I'll have much more time on my hands. For now, though, perhaps some light reading and heavy sleeping. Onward!
